Sarah is the City Clerk for the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado, with the responsibility of conducting all municipal elections, redistricting of city council districts, managing the City’s business licensing program, preparing City Council meeting agendas/minutes, and keeping all municipal records.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Transylvania University and a master’s degree in Public Administration, specializing in state and local government, from the University of Kentucky. She is also a certified Master Municipal Clerk through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
Sarah has 27 years of experience in election administration through work at the Commonwealth of Kentucky State Board of Elections and the City of Colorado Springs.
She is a member of United States Election Assistance Commission Board of Advisors, the Department of Homeland Security Election Infrastructure Subsector Government Coordinating Council, and the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Election Task Force.
