Matt Crane

Matt has worked in election administration in Colorado for 21 years, working at both the state and county levels.  From 2013 through 2018, he served as the elected Clerk and Recorder for Arapahoe County.  While serving as Clerk, Matt worked collaboratively with all parties and stakeholders to improve transparency and trust in the election process.  Under Matt’s leadership, Arapahoe County was recognized a leader in election administration, providing citizens with innovative tools to create better access to the ballot and to provide better information about the election process.  Matt was also a statewide leader, serving as President of the Colorado County Clerks Association in 2016 and as the Legislative Co-chair for the Colorado County Clerks Association from 2015 through 2018.  Matt currently serves as the Executive Director of the Colorado County Clerks Association and as an election administration consultant.
