Justin Roebuck serves as the chief election officer for Ottawa County, Michigan, overseeing the elections process for 23 local cities and townships and more than 236,000 registered voters. He is deeply committed to strengthening public confidence in elections through transparency, professionalism, and clear, proactive communication. His team focuses on consistent, fact-based public engagement across multiple platforms—from social media to in-person voter outreach.
In addition to his work in Ottawa County, Justin serves on the Standards Board of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), the Michigan Council of Election Officials, and is Co-Chair of the Michigan Association of County Clerks Legislative Committee. He was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to the Michigan Judicial Council, which is responsible for developing and implementing a statewide strategic plan for Michigan’s judicial branch. He also serves on the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Task Force on Elections. In 2021, Justin was named “County Clerk of the Year” by his colleagues in the Michigan Association of County Clerks.
Justin is a graduate of Hillsdale College, with a B.A. in History and Political Science, and resides in Zeeland, Michigan with his wife and two children.
