Dean Logan

With more than 25 years’ experience in elections administration, records management and public service, Dean Logan serves as the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk for Los Angeles County, California – the nation’s largest local elections jurisdiction. Logan previously served as the Director of Records, Elections and Licensing Services for King County, Washington, as State Elections Director for the Washington Secretary of State; and as the elected County Clerk and Chief Deputy County Auditor in Kitsap County, Washington. He holds an Executive Master of Public Administration degree from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington and an undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership. Logan teaches graduate courses in Strategic Management, Leadership, and Intergovernmental Relations at California State University, Northridge.
